Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has commiserated with Nigeria’s President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, Inspector General of Police, Mr. Hafiz Ringim and the entire Police Force on the recent bomb blast that claimed lives of innocent police officers and destroyed properties worth millions of Naira.  

Governor Ahmed in a condolence message to the Police Authority and families of the innocent victims condemned the dastardly act, describing it as wicked and barbaric.  

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the repose of the souls of the deceased peaceful rest.  

Alhaji Ahmed regretted that agents of death and dark age were still knocking all over the places at a time the country was repositioning herself in the committee of nations.  

The governor, however, challenged Security agencies in the country to prove their worth by tracking down the perpetrators of the dastardly act and rise up to the challenges of insecurity across the country.  

Governor Ahmed promised to assist security agencies in Kwara State, just as he assured the citizens of a secured State.
