Alleged Intimidation of workers by ACN
There is no iota of truth in all the above allegations as they were cooked stories designed by the ACN to paint the PDP-led government in bad light, the workers in the State, teachers inclusive have been partners in progress in the last eight years, while the opposition parties had enjoyed unfeathered freedom to do their programmes and political activities in the State.
The state government was not surprised by the alleged falsehood of ACN, their case is like that of a drawning boat who would hang on to anything in order to survive.
The ACN in an attempt to curry favour from members of the public also alleged that some teachers and traditional rulers were being threatened with sack for no just cause.
As government who has impacted positively on the lives of the people, traditional rulers and teachers inclusive need no arms twisting or intimidate the same people before asking them to vote for our party.
The traditional institution, in the last eight years had not only been accorded their rightful position in the scheme of things, but had equally being a worthy partners in the development of the State, how then can the state government that has done so much for the traditional institution in the last eight years indulge in such retrogressive action. The party is only wasting its time in this pull-it-down syndrome rather than face reality.
The PDP-led state government has it on record as a labour-friendly administration that has not only met all the demands of workers in the State but has also equipped and empowered them for optimum productivity.
We therefore advice the leadership of the ACN in the State to stop chasing shadows and concentrate its attention on the programmes and policies it intends to sell to Kwarans. The era of deceit and propaganda in Kwara politics is gone for good as millions of fallacies and malicious claims cannot in any way deter the state government in providing good governance.
