In fulfillment of the present administration’s promise to provide basic social amenities that would improve the living standard of the people and ensure equitable distribution of dividends of democracy to all parts of the State, the Oro-Ago road, Pipeline Area, Ilorin which was approved for rehabilitation has been completed.

The rehabilitation of the road was approved by the State Governor Dr Bukola Saraki following its deplorable condition that was adversely affecting the socio-economic development of the area.

Disclosing the cheery news, the Special Assistant on Rural Roads, Alhaji Mustapha Saraki, said, since the completion of these projects in the affected areas, the economic lives of the people in the area not only picked up, but the commercial activities has greatly transformed.

He disclosed in a letter of notification to Governor Saraki, that all concrete work, side drains, culvert, and earth work and entrance ramps have all been completed.

While the completion of all necessary concrete works and outlays of the road are now ready for inspection by the governor, the road is already yielding positive results as the people of the area now go about their economic activities without any hindrance.

It would be recalled that the Oro-Ago road at pipeline area was in a state of disrepair before the timely intervention of Dr Saraki, who gave a new lease of life to residents of the area.
