Press Release: Kwara PDP takes campaign to Ilorin South' promise youths job opportunities.
The Chairman of the Ajibola/Aluko PDP campaign committee, Prof. Oba Abdulraheem , stated this while addressing mammoth crowd at Balogun Fulani in continuation of the party's campaign ahead of the polls.
According to him, "you will remember that we led a campaign team here in 2011 on the platform of PDP. The promised made then we're not fulfilled by the APC government. Today, we have have brought the same PDP to you because the bad elements there have left. PDP has been sanitized . Most of the projects you see around here are executed by the federal federal government. "
Also speaking, the deputy governorship candidate of the party, Mallam Ahmed Yinka Aluko, berated the APC government led by Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for its total collapse of the state economy in the face of abject poverty confronting the people.
Aluko also urged the people of Ilorin South to support the PDP and reciprocate the gesture of producing him as the party's deputy governorship candidate for the next election warning them not to loose the opportunity avail them.
He also condemned the APC government for embarking on rigorous money campaign after failing the masses stressing that "as a sitting government they need not to campaign that much if really they have fulfilled their campaign promises."
Meanwhile, Sen. Ajibola therefore promised to restore all the lost glories of the state stressing that provision of water, creation of jobs, provision of basic healthcare facilities among other social amenities.
The guber candidate however assured the people of the state that his government will provide true democracy aimed giving everybody chance in governance even as he promised to declare free education at all levels.
Sen Ajibola added that pensioners as well as workers will be well taken care of maintaining that PDP government will not embezzle the state treasury and appealed to the people of the area to ensure the collection of their PVC in order to allow them participate in the polls .
A student union leader, Comrade Musbau Esinrogunjo, who led other students forum at the event declared supports for the PDP stressing the Gov Ahmed led government has failed and disappointed the students in their numbers.
