Press Release: Yinka Aluko congratulates Buhari, urges electorate to effect change in Kwara
He also urged Kwarans to come out on the 11th of April and vote enmass to free Kwara state from political and economic bondage by voting for the PDP candidates stressing that kwara shall be free from political jobbers whose stock in trade is to mortgage the state and the entire people living therein.
Aluko stated this in his message to the people of Kwara over the peaceful conduct of the election noting that Sen. Simeon Ajibola and Mallam Yinka Aluko guber ticket will restore the hope of the masses if voted in.
He however urged religious leaders not to attach sentiment to the project at adding that the freedom struggle for the future and generations yet unborn concerns all stakeholders by giving Ajibola/Aluko guber ticket the chance to prove to the people of the state that in our lifetime, Kwara can be free and great again.
The PDP chieftain however advised women and youth groups as well as civil servants to ensure that the desired positive change in the state is realized for the economic and political prosperity of ?the people.
"Let it be on record that President Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP has made record by conducting a peaceful election that defeated him.
"He has also conceded defeat and called the president-elect congratulating him on his success at the poll demonstrating statesmanship and sportsmanship compare to Gen. Buhari's reaction when he ?lost in 2011.
"While congratulating Gen Buhari on his election success, we urged the people of Kwara State to be committed and steadfast to freedom struggle and also effect the desired change in the state in the forthcoming guber poll.
"Let's all make Kwara state great again by voting for Sen. Simeon Ajibola and Mallam Yinka Aluko of the PDP and salvage our people from economic, political and social bondage",he added?.
