PDP finished in Kwara -Jalala

Date: 2015-04-19

A prominent politician in Oyun Local Government Area, Mr Joshua Omokanye Jalala has described the loss of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State at the recently concluded general elections as at the end to its significance in the state.

Jalala, a former Chairman of Oyun Local Government Area and one of governor Ahmed's Special Assistant, stated this in a chat with The Herald On Sunday, adding that for the gubernatorial candidate of PDP, Senator Simon Suleiman Ajibola to be defeated in his polling unit and ward, points to the dismal performance of the party in Kwara South in particular and the state as a whole.

He further commended Senator Bukola Saraki for his sterling leadership quality that has been a fulcrum to the strength of the party (APC) in Kwara State.

He urged the APC top consolidate on the success of the party at the polls by recognizing the contributions of various political actors, thanking all the party faithful for being resolute and steadfast in the collective pursuit for change.
