The member representing Ilorin Central Constituency at the Kwara House of Assembly, Segilola Abdulkadir, has congratulated Abubakar Bukola Saraki (GCON) on his election as the Senate President.

"Today, in a complex nation governed by strong national interests and goals, we have for many years benefited from your good exemplary leadership, patriotism and commitments in addressing some of the crucial issues of our time. Permit me to reiterate, today is also about 'Change.'

Not 'Change,' as the political symbol of the APC but change in business as usual," he said on Sunday.

Abdulkadir urged the aggrieved members of the National Assembly to forge peacefully and move Nigeria to greatness.

"All in all, our eye must remain on the ultimate prize, the success of Nigeria for all of us. The nation has high hopes from the Senators, where are expected to play their part in the prosperity of this country."

bdulkadir expressed confidence Saraki's leadership would further strengthen the traditional friendly relations between the National and Presidency which would further develop the benefit of Nigerians.
