Kwara United's Abdulrahman gets three-match ultimatum
The management of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kwara United has given its technical crew a three match ultimatum to shape up or be sanctioned.
The coach Tunde Abdulrahman led technical crew will be expected to pick seven points out of nine in the next three matches.
The matches in question are match day 14 clash at Bayelsa United on Sunday, a home match against Enyimba and another road trip duel at FC Taraba.
Kwara United general manager, Haruna Maigidansanma said the decision was arrived after a review of the NPFL match day 13 clash 1-1 draw against Lobi Stars on Sunday in llorin considered unacceptable by the management with the technical crew.
Maigidansanma added that the management will only work with officials and players that will justify the aspiration of the team and not those keen on collecting salaries.
"The Tunde Abdulrahman led crew must pick seven points from a possible nine in its next three games or they will be shown the exit way.
"If we cannot pick point or points on the road we must not drop at home too.
"The competition in the league this season is high and every serious team must take advantage of that because there is fair officiating everywhere these days so we must utilise that.
"We are struggling to keep the team moving and the technical crew must help us complement our stress to keep them happy.
"Henceforth, there won't be room for costly mistakes again, if teams can come to llorin and take points we must be able to do same too anywhere.
"Our target at the start of the season is to see this team play in the continent at the end of the season and management will not settle for anything less," said Maigidansanma to supersport.com.
The Harmony Boys have picked 15 points from possible 39 in the 13-week old top flight though with a match at hand.
