The President, Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Adamu Bulkachuwa, has expressed shock over the demise of Justice Abubakar Abdulkadir Jega and Justice M.H. Alkali of the Court of Appeal in the holy land of Saudi Arabia.

In a condolence message, Justice Bulkachuwa noted that it was with a deep sense of shock but with gratitude to Almighty Allah that the court learnt of the death of Justices Abubakar Abdulkadir Jega, presiding Justice of the Abuja division of Court of Appeal and Justice M.H. Alkali of Ilorin Division of the court.

A statement by Mrs. Sa'adatu Musa the Head, Media and Publicity of Court of Appeal said Justice Bulkachuwab described their sudden passage as a huge loss to the Judiciary, where the deceased worked for years without blemish.

According to his Lordship, the two late Justices had never been found wanting in the discharge of their responsibilities describing them as highly principled on the Bench.
