Land compensation: kwara government pays twenty million naira
The kwara state government has paid twenty million naira compensation for Aleara and Osin-Aremu community in Ilorin-West Local Government Area of Kwara.
The Director of Bureau of Land, Alhaji Ibrahim Salman who disclosed this today while presenting the cheque to the beneficiaries in Ilorin said that the ministries acquired fifty six point nine hectares of land for the commercial purpose and residential use.
According to him, the payment of twenty million naira compensation is a part payment and promised that government will pay the balance later. The Director also added that seven family and farmers are the beneficiaries of the compensation.
