The Nigerian Baseball/Softball Association, NBSA, has informed all Chairmen, state chapters, Directors of Sports  in states' Sports Councils, clubs' presidents and Heads of schools that their baseball players have been invited to the Major League Baseball Clinic and Tryout taking place in Ilorin, Kwara State on 27 July.

The NBSA said that Team Managers should send lists of their players with the highest quality within the ages of 14 and 19 before 23 July.

The players are to assemble at the Adewole Baseball Park, Ilorin in preparation for the Major League Baseball Academy in South Africa.

Also, the players that have been selected by their teams have been advised to come with their birth certificates, while players outside the age specification will be disqualifed.

The NBSA also instructed Team Managers to download the NBSA forms and fill them  online, while only registered clubs and financially viable clubs will be allowed to present their players for the Tryout and Clinic

The teams are expected to arrive Ilorin on 26 July, while  each team will be responsible for the accommodation, feeding and transportation of the players.
