Members of the newly reconstituted Executive Committee of Ojomu District Development Association in Offa have been charged to justify the confidence reposed in them by taking the association to greater heights.

The Ojomu of Offa, Chief Joseph Bayo Akinola who gave the charge while addressing the new committee said their election was purely based on merit, urging them to be up and doing.

Chief Akinola enjoined them to shun backbiting, bickering, character assassination, campaign of calumny, dishonesty and other acts capable of retarding the progress of the association.

Members of the new committee include Honourable (Chief) Saka Agboola Raji - Chairman; Chief M.O Olanipekun - Vice Chairman; Mr. J.A Olaore -General Secretary; Alhaji M.A Adeagbo - Assist General Secretary and Alhaji Raheem Shittu - Financial Secretary.

Others include Mr. Taiye Olaosebikan - Auditor; Venerable E.AOgundipe (JP)-Treasurer; Mudasiru Aina -Public Relations Officer while Alhaji A. Alayande and Alhaji Y.AAdisa were elected Ex-officio I and Ex-officio II respectively.

In his acceptance speech, the chairman who was a one-time Minority Leader in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honourable S.A Raji thanked members for the honour done them and promised to live up to expectation while soliciting their cooperation.
