Kwara Ready to Host Flying Eagles

Date: 2012-08-02

Kwara State government has assured it will stage a hitch-free African Youth Championship qualifier on August 12 in Ilorin.

Nigeria's Flying Eagles will welcome their Tanzanian counterparts at the Ilorin Township Stadium after they defeated them 2-1 in Dar es Salam on Sunday.

Kwara State commissioner for Sports, Kayode Towoju told MTNFootball.com; "We are excited about the result in the first leg and as such we have already begun arrangements for the return match of the team.

"What I want Nigerians to know is that we are ready and we would ensure that the team's preparations for the return leg are hitch free."

However MTNFootball.com findings reveal that the State government has budgeted over $80,000 for the successful hosting of the AYC qualifier.
