The Member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Mathew Olaitan Babaoye has distributed food items to Muslim faithfuls in his constituency to support them in this holy month of Ramadan.

The Ramadan package as usual cut across the eleven wards that makes up his constituency. The beneficiaries include: party stalwarts, elders/stakeholders, aged women, youths amongst others.

Hon. Babaoye while distributing the gift to the beneficiaries enjoined Muslims in his constituency to use the opportunity to pray for sustenance of peace and harmony in the state, stressing that it would aid development and provide atmosphere for government to build on existing legacies.

Describing the gesture, some of the beneficiaries said "it is an annual thing, we are familiar with Hon. Mathew Olaitan Babaoye philanthropism. We pray for more blessings and elevation for him."
