Date: 2017-10-30

A Public Affairs Analyst, Comrade John Fasikun has attributed the major crisis affecting the Nigerian economy to lack of good leadership.

He made this known while on a Radio Kwara Interactive Programme "The Platform".

The Public Affairs Analyst also identified lack of good governance by the Nigeria leaders, lack of knowledge, will and problem of egocentrism as contributory factors to the economic challenges facing the country.

Comrade Fasikun however, called on the Nigerian leaders at all levels to be trustworthy, show good governance, worthy of emulation by the followers to promote peaceful co-existence and harmonious relationship in the country.

The Guest, who is also a retired union leader, implored the Nigerian leaders to fulfill their obligations to the masses.

Speaking on the Anti-corruption movement in the country, Comrade Fashiku noted that until when Nigerians begin to enjoy the Fundamental Human Rights, provision of food, shelter and other social amenities then the Anti-corruption movement would start to be genuinely embraced by the generality of the populace.
