The Olugbense Ruling House, Offa has rejoiced with the entire people of Offa over the victory recorded at the National Population Appeal Tribunal in Abuja which nullified the census figure released for Offa in the last National head count.

A statement jointly signed by the Mogaji of the House, Pa S. F. Oyeniyi and the General Secretary, Prince Raheem Olatoke Keji, the House described the victory as a landmark and commended some Offa notable leaders like Professor M. O. Jamiu Oyawoye, the Aremo of Offa, Chief E. O. Adesoye, the Asiwaju of Offa, Ambassador Dr. Tunji Olagunju, Professor Suleiman Adeyemi, Chief Yinusa F. Oyeyemi and others for their prominent roles in one way or the other towards the victory.

The Royal House also applauded the efforts of the committee set up for the purpose as well as the efforts of a team of erudite Lawyers and legal luminaries who were engaged to handle the legal battle at the tribunal adding that their achievements will remain forever in the anal of history of the ancient town.

The House also hailed the National Population Appeal Tribunal for doing justice to the case brought before it by the Offa community.
