Gobir to be turbaned as Wazirin Hausa

All arrangements have been concluded for the turbanning of Alhaji (Dr) Umar Farouk Umar.(CON)

The ceremony will take place at the Emir's palace, Fadar Hausa, Daura on the nineteenth and twentieth of this month.

A statement by the Secretary Daura Emirate Council, said the event will begin by noon.

Alhaji Yakubu Gobir who hails from the Gobir Dynasty of Ilorin is a Social Entrepreneur and an APC gubernatorial aspirant in the recently held governorship primaries which took place in Ilorin , the Kwara state capital.
