Hajj: Kwara Set To Commence Biometric Data Capturing

The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board is set to commence biometric data capturing for all the 2,200 intending Pilgrims travelling with the Board for 2019 Hajj exercise.

The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh disclosed this in an interview with LEADERSHIP Sunday in llorin.

He said the data capturing exercise will begin with 1, 127 intending pilgrims from the state who have obtained application forms and paid deposit for the board.

According to the Executive Secrerary, 1,127 intending Pilgrims to be first captured are part of 2,200 seats allocated to the state by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON)

Tunde-Jimoh said the exercise will begin as soon as the board get clearance from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

He said the biometric data capturing of all the intending pilgrims was in line with the directives of the Saudi Arabia authority and NAHCON.

Tunde-Jimoh advised the intending pilgrims to always monitor calls and text messages on their phones for directive on the biometric data capturing exercise.
