Former Kwara United coach Tunde Sanni has told futaa.com tof his desire to be back as coach of the team saying he is the best choice for the vacant manager's job for the Premier League club.

Kwara United are set to name the coach thatr will rake charge of the team next season and the former captain of the side, who was asked to re-apply for the job said he hopes to be in charge of the team next season.

- I believe that the management will see reasons why they should let me continue as the coach of the club. Firstly, I'm a former player and a former captain of the team. 

- I'm a product of the club and in all ramification, I'm the most suitable to lead the club, he said.

Target

Sanni was suspended briefly by the Afonja Warriors after a string of poor results which culminated in their disappointing campaign in the Federation Cup group stage in Lagos.

He was however recalled after a stakeholders' meeting and was given a target of securing the club's safety which he met by placing sixth on the league table.
