Averting the inconsequential outrages from disllussioned quarters - Part One.

Date: 2020-08-20

My attention has been drawn to a garrulous assemblage of misguided individuals who tried to hide under the canopy of an unregistered youth association by name "Kwara South Youth Assembly" with hideous calumny against the personality of Senator Ashiru Oyelola Yisa.

Just as we were silently reviewing the maladies of such dimunitive assault, another faux pas rejoinder of same contempt was released by another faceless organization by name "Ifelodun Youth Vanguard". At the instance of these diatribe onslaughts against the run of play. It thus behove the integrity of the office to respond as a critical stakeholders in the midst of a cloud-full lies and a trajectory of defamatory tendencies.

Of the truth, one is guided by the consequences of an unsupervised political freedom in the circumstances of an emerging trend of an oozing political freedom in Kwara State to assume to know beyond their reachable forktales. The unguided political reality, no doubt will be alive to many absurdities such as one in question.

The two proponing fake organizations "recalls threat" is nothing but a corrugation of moribund, archaic, primitive and child-laden enterprises that enjoins the laugher of key and critical stakeholders of our party.

These organizations purely lacked the essential knowledge of parliamentary administraton, otherwise, legislation has nothing to do with direct allocation of any monetary rewards to self. At no time was any constituency allowance made outside the annual budgetory provision of the executive. The legislative role in the constitition is purely to make laws for the nation, a role that the Senator's has not reneged once since last year June,2020.

Year 2020 remains the Senator's first year in office, where yearly budgetory provision is expected to have commenced based on the constituional provision of the Federal Executive Government availability of fund.

So far, the Senator has built 2 bedroom separate self curtains apartments each and donated to two individuals in his SENATORIAL district. The Senator has equally given 200,000 to each of the 83 political wards for direct women empowerment at 20, 000 each for 10 nominated individuals. Last year October, 2019, the Senator sponsored over 150 youth for the tourist expedition tour of Kwara South.

The Senator also paid 300,000 each for three law school students, the Senator is also working directly with 34 appointed legislative liason officers who are currently under the basic minimum wages at his constituency office in Ajasse Ipo, Irepodun Local Government of Kwara State.

During the Covid 19 lockdown, the Senator approved 3 bags each of Rice for each of the 83 wards among many other valid incentives and direct monetary interventions that have been released.

A nation with lazy youth has no future. A nation with a mega assemblage of liars as youth populace has no future and the continuous use of the "youth" in many derogatory political assignments is a disservice to the larger patriotic youth with good intent.

We therefore called on the apolitical stakeholders, the appointed Legislative Liasion Officer of the Senator to identify these individuals in our midst, if traceable for proper briefing and related rehabilitation.
