HR Solutions, Key to Organisational Growth - Temitope Ajayi
The Human Resource Manager, Kwara Hotels, Mr. Temitope Ajayi, has said adopting some human resource solutions by managers will boost productivity in corporate organisations.
He said in order for companies to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity, technologies that capitalised on emerging trends should be implemented.
Ajayi spoke while delivering a lecture titled, 'Emerging issues in office etiquette: The human resources perspective,' during the monthly summit of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Kwara State chapter, in Ilorin on Tuesday.
According to him, such potential solutions include investing in technologies and workflow solutions that enhance workplace productivity rather than increase multi-tasking.
He also said that clear rules and guidelines around acceptable uses of technology in the workplace should be established in addition to training on new technologies.
According to him, it is needful to acknowledge and address the significant impact of social networking by investing in professional networking solutions.
Ajayi also canvassed the provision of good working environment and motivation, observance of some office etiquettes, and periodic trainings and retraining of employees, as strategies to boosting productivity in organisations.
He said employers must give their best for the sustenance and growth of the organisation and advised that global best practices should be observed by corporate organisations if they were to effectively compete and remain in business.
