Ramadan: Kwara Speaker Tasks Muslim Faithful On Steadfastness

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has felicitated with the Muslim faithful as Ramadan fast begins across the globe, calling on them to be steadfast and support the government with prayers.

Danladi-Salihu's message was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sheu Abdulkadir Yusuf on Monday.

He reminded the Muslims to use the opportunity of the blessed month for their spiritual upliftment and rejuvenation.

The Speaker also implored them to emulate Prophet Muhammed and reflect on his many teachings of the sacred month such as tolerance, sacrifice, kindness, self-discipline, self-control, empathy among others and practicalize same in their day-to-day activities.

The lawmaker wishes Muslims an acceptable and stress-free fast.
