Date: 2012-02-29

The Special Assistant to the Governor on National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP), Prince Olawale Kazeem Olanipekun, who disclosed this while speaking at the flag-off of government’s sensitization and mobilization campaign on NAPEP projects in Kwara, said the project does not have a political coloration. He added that the policy thrust of the present administration was built around the need to transform rural areas.

Also speaking, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Intergovernmental Affairs, Alhaji Aro Yahyah said the state and local governments would contribute 20 per cent each for the project while financial institutions would take care of the remaining 60 percent.
