Kwara PDP Women Leader Resigns
Kwara State Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaja Riskat Abdulahi, has resigned her position.
Confirming the development to Daily Trust Sunday, she attributed her action to “personal reasons” but said that she was still a member of the opposition PDP in the state.
“My resignation is personal, I want to face my business but I am still a member of the PDP,” Riskat who is the elder sister to the former Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdulahi, said.
She thanked the former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and members of the SEC for their cooperation and support during her service.
Hajia Riskat's resignation comes months after that of the party's secretary and spokesman, Abdulrazaq Lawal and Prince Tunji Moronfoye.
