Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has given his approval for the promotion examination to be conducted for all staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) who are due for advancement in 2025.

The Chairman of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, made this announcement today in Ilorin while addressing the management staff of the commission in his office.

Mallam Bello affirmed that this approval serves as yet another testimony to Governor AbdulRazaq's dedication to improving the welfare and working conditions of teachers across the state.

The Chairman further recalled the Governor's consistent support since assuming office in 2019. He noted that the Governor cash backed the promotions that were pending from the years 2015, 2016, and 2017. Since then, the administration has subsequently ensured that promotions up to 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 were all cash backed respectively.

The Chairman, however, implored the affected Tescom Staff to remain committed to their primary assignments to further sustain effective service delivery as expected.

Mallam Bello added that the present administration will continue to give necessary attention to their welfare towards motivating them for better performance, stressing that the examination date will be communicated to them soon.
