NUJ Condoles with Ifelodun LG Chairman Over Mother's Death
The Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has commiserated with the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state, Hadji Femi Yusuf, over the death of his mother, Hajia Shiffau Aduke Yusuf.
In a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday, the Chairman of the Council, Ahmed 'Lanre Abdullateef, and the Secretary, Mahmood Olayinka Alaya, described the death of the deceased as a colossal loss not only to her immediate family but also to the community that benefitted from her virtues during her lifetime.
The Council prayed to the Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her eternal rest in al-janat fridaus.
Whilst consoling the bereaved family, particularly Hadji Femi Yusuf, the NUJ urged them to take solace in the good life their late mother lived and sustain the worthy legacy she left behind.
The Union also encouraged the family to remain strong and united during this difficult period, praying that Allah grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
