The First Lady of Kwara State, Founder of Ajike People Support Centre and Chairperson of the Nigeria Governors' Spouses Forum, Her Excellency Ambassador Professor Olufolake AbdulRazaq, on Thursday, 16th April, went all out to cheer the Kwara United Queens to victory at the Kwara State First Lady Pre-Season Championship held at the Kwara State Football Academy pitch in Ilorin.

Speaking after the match between Kwara United Queens Football Club and Federal University Oye Ekiti Dazzlers, the First Lady commended the teams for playing with passion, integrity and respect for one another and enjoined them to remember that their participation is a victory for them, their communities and every young girl looking up to them.

The First Lady at the event enjoined stakeholders, government, private sector and development partners to continue investing in women's sports, adding that when we support female athletes, we are not just nurturing talents but building confidence, leadership and a stronger society.

The match ended 4–1 in favour of Kwara United Queens and the First Lady presented a cash award to the team for their victory.
