Kwara Tech Fest 2026 to Spotlight Innovation, Investment Opportunities in Offa
Kwara State Commissioners for Youth Development, Ambassador Shehu Usman, and Education and Human Capital Development, Dr Lawal Olohungbebe, are among the dignitaries expected at the 2026 Kwara Tech Fest in Offa, a technology conference aimed at attracting global investment, innovation and digital opportunities to the state.
Scheduled for October 20 and 21, the two-day festival is expected to bring together founders, developers, investors, institutions, sponsors, exhibitors and emerging tech talents while showcasing Kwara as one of Nigeria's emerging technology hubs.
The event is being organised by MoiPayWay Technologies Limited as part of efforts to strengthen Kwara State's position in Nigeria's growing technology and digital economy.
In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of MoiPayWay Technologies Limited, Damilola Parkinson, said the festival would attract technology leaders, startup founders, investors, developers, students, corporate organisations, government agencies, universities and international partners for two days of innovation, investment discussions, product exhibitions and strategic collaborations.
According to him, the event is designed to create direct connections between local innovators and organisations seeking investment opportunities, skilled professionals, institutional partnerships, emerging technologies and new markets.
The organisers said the festival will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, startup pitch sessions, product demonstrations, exhibitions, technical workshops, career opportunities, investor engagements, policy conversations and networking sessions.
Discussions during the event will focus on critical sectors of the digital economy, including artificial intelligence, financial technology (fintech), cybersecurity, blockchain, agritech, digital infrastructure, creative technology, smart city development, financial inclusion, education, public safety and digital innovation.
According to the organisers, one of the major objectives of Kwara Tech Fest 2026 is to showcase the commercial, institutional and human capital opportunities available across Kwara State to international organisations, investors and technology companies, while positioning the state as a destination for innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
