Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, has warmly felicitated the Executive Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF), Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, on his historic turbaning as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate.

In a congratulatory statement he personally signed and released on Wednesday, Engr. Olododo described the prestigious traditional title, conferred by the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, as a well-deserved recognition of the Governor's dedicated stewardship, transformative leadership and enduring contributions to the development of Kwara State and the Ilorin Emirate.

Engr. Olododo also extended his felicitations to the Emir of Ilorin, commending his fatherly foresight and praying that the conferment would bring continued peace, unity and socio-economic prosperity to the Emirate.

Highlighting the Governor's role as a mentor and statesman, Engr. Olododo noted that the royal honour reflects his commitment to human capacity development, grassroots progress and good governance across Kwara State.

"I am deeply grateful for His Excellency's mentorship and guidance. The passion he demonstrates every day in building a stronger, more prosperous and united Kwara State continues to inspire us all. This honour is a clear testament to his selfless service and unwavering devotion to our people and heritage," Olododo stated.

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the new Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate abundant wisdom, sound health and long life to continue his impactful service to the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and humanity at large.
