Unilorin Starts Exams on 27th; Warns Students Against Malpractices

Date: 2013-05-16

The second semester examinations of University of Ilorin has been scheduled to commence on Monday May 27, 2013 and end on Saturday June 15, 2013. This was contained in this week’s edition of Unilorin bulletin made available to newsmen.

The university advised the students to shun examination malpractices, adding that “it has become necessary that adequate preparation for smooth and hitch-free examination is put in place.”

The statement drew the attention of the students to the institution’s rules and regulations including the use of unauthorized materials or aids, introducing into the examination venues, handbags, books and other materials not permitted, as well as entering the exam venues with inscription on any part of the body.

“Candidates shall not use other people to sit for any university examination on their behalf, use of mobile sets, iPods, etc are prohibited and any hand set discovered in and around the examination hall would be impounded, irrespective of it being switched off,” the statement added.
