Ramadan - Ahmed Makes Case for Less Privileged
As the Ramadan fast begins, the Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has charged Muslims to use the holy month to do more for less privileged members of the society in order to close the "wide" gap between the rich and the poor.
In his Ramadan message, Ahmed called for intensified prayers for peace and unity of the country. Fasting, the governor noted, was made compulsory for all able Muslims by Almighty Allah, to enable them move closer to God .
