FAAC causes salary delay - Kwara Comm. for Finance

The Kwara State Government is making frantic effort to pay August salary to its workers, blaming the delay in payment to the non receiving of Federal Allocation from the federation account.

The State Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Demola Banu disclosed this yesterdayat the state Joint Account Allocation (JAAC)meeting held in Ilorin.

He assured that the state government would continue to place high premium on the welfare of its people.

Banu who is also chairman of the committee explained that the amount distributable for the month stand at N845,806,157.41.

He remarked that the gross statutory allocation stand at N1,853,485,656.04, while net statutory allocation is N368,057,646.41.
