IPMAN sells kerosene N50 per litre in Kwara

Date: 2013-11-11

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria has commenced the sale of kerosene at official rate of N50 per liters in six petrol stations in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Alhaji AbdulRasheed Olapode, IPMAN Chairman, NNPC Depot, Ilorin, told journalists on Sunday that the association brought the kerosene to Ilorin to be sold at the official rate.

Olapode said the product was distributed to six filling stations in Ilorin, which included Rasas Petrol Station, Zango, Bekind Petrol Station in Tanke and Olu-Ola petrol Station at Offa Garrage.

Others are Emmanuel Petrol Station at Geri Alimi, Yarotan Petrol Station at Itamu and Ibrolak Petrol Station at Oloje Road, all in Ilorin.

The IPMAN chairman said that PPMC would make sure that the product was sold to the public at the official rate of N50 per litre any time it had supplies .

This, he said, was unlike when marketers had to go to Lagos to buy the product, which cost more.
