The Secretary of the club, Mr Dele Oguntokun disclosed this on Monday in Ilorin.

Oguntokun said the friendlies were put together to fine tune preparations for the forthcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) which begins on February 15th.

He said the Afonja Warriors would make a return trip to Ibadan on Saturday February 8th, to play 3SC in a return leg of the two legged friendly.

The club's scribe noted that their preparations would continue immediately after the 3SC game as the management is committed to stage a quick comeback.

He disclosed that Kwara Utd would approach the NNL with every sense of seriousness.

He pointed out that the mandate before them is to see their darling club make return to the top division.

According to him, the coaching crew and the players have been told of the expectations of Kwarans.

He added that the club is now well positioned to take the league by storm from the first match till the end.
