Sanni vows to punish Kwara Utd

Date: 2014-02-27

DSS head coach, Tunde Sanni has vowed to punish Kwara United when his wards face the Warriors this Wednesday in Kaduna.

The two teams will go head-to-head in the Nigeria National League (NNL) match day 3 duel, and Sanni, who was Kwara United head coach two seasons ago, said the Afonja Warriors would be decimated by his lads.

Sanni also disclosed to supersport.com that the duel would be payback time for Kwara United where he left unceremoniously.

Two seasons ago, Sanni guided Kwara United to finish in sixth position in Nigeria's top flight, but he was sacked at the end of the season.

Interestingly, he was replaced by former Ocean Boys gaffer, Samson Unuanel, who steered United to relegation last term in the premier League.

"Those people at the helm of Kwara United that time never appreciated me and it is a pity what they did to me upon what I achieved for the team.

"This match will be a payback time for Kwara United, because I have instructed my boys to descend on them without mercy.

"We are also looking for a promotion ticket, and I'm sure we would get it at the end of this season in the National League," Sanni said to supersport.com
